- Inductees’ List Out Soon
Preparations are in top gear for the next induction ceremony of the Nigeria Aviation Hall of Fame, with organisers confirming that final screening of nominees has been completed and arrangements are nearing completion.
Organisers, Wole Shadare and Gboyega Adeoye, say the event will celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth of Nigeria’s aviation industry.

They commended the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, for his strong support, describing his commitment to preserving the industry’s legacy as instrumental to the programme’s success.
The organisers also expressed appreciation to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, led by Olubunmi Kuku, as well as the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority and the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology for their collaboration.
They further acknowledged the support of corporate partners, including Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Google Nigeria, SAHCO, BASL, Sabre, Aero Contractors, and several local and international airlines.
According to them, the Hall of Fame induction is aimed at honouring aviation pioneers, preserving the industry’s history and inspiring future generations.
Details of the ceremony, including the date, venue and list of inductees, are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Speaking on the support received so far, Shadare expressed profound appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN), for his massive and unwavering support to ensure the success of the event.
“We are putting finishing touches to what promises to be a defining moment for Nigeria’s aviation history. This would not have been possible without the Honourable Minister, Mr Festus Keyamo, whose commitment to recognising excellence and preserving our industry’s legacy has been phenomenal. His support has been a major boost for us,” he said.
Adeoye extended gratitude to the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, ably led by the Managing Director, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, and other aviation agencies for their collaboration.
“We are equally grateful to FAAN under Mrs Olubunmi Kuku for standing firmly with us. The collaboration we have enjoyed from FAAN, the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) demonstrates a united industry ready to celebrate its heroes,” he stated.
Details of the induction ceremony, including date, venue, and the full list of inductees, will be announced in the coming days.
